Here is a training tool to help you practice accuracy as well as learn and practice the location of the notes on the harmonica.
NOTE: This is for use with Richter-tuned diatonic (10 holes) major key harmonicas only.
This tool helps you practice accurately finding the relative notes (relative to the scale) as well as the absolute notes (for example D5 on the C harmonica). By becoming aware of what scale note you are playing at each location (which is the same on all keys of these type harmonicas), you can then readily extrapolate actual note being played. For beginners, this tool can also be used to improve your accuracy in simply playing tablature. Then you can begin to work on the music theory and the location of the notes on the harmonica. Additionally, by having to listen closely to the audio (from yourself and the app when comparing) it improves recognizing notes and intervals (essentially some ear training).
